Dedicating a port will disable port verification. See Set/Define Port Dedicated on page -HIDDEN for more
information.

Restrictions You must be the privileged user to enter this command for a port other than
your own (the current port).
Parameters PortList/All
Specifies a particular port or group of ports, or all ports. Port numbers are
specified with integers between 1 and the total number of physical ports. Lists
of ports must be separated by commas. Ranges of ports must be separated by
a dash (-).
Note: In the absence of a PortList or the All parameter, the configuration will affect the
current port only.

12.25 Set/Define Printer Type
Sets the printer type for the parallel port(s).
Applies To EPS1, EPS2
Restrictions You must be the privileged user to use this command.
Parameters Auto
The Server will attempt to automatically select the printer type based on the
signals seen on the parallel port.
Centronics
The parallel port is treated as a Centronics-compatible port.
Dataproducts
The parallel port is treated as a Dataproducts-compatible port.
